Interact Club

Since its inception in 1995, the Interact Club of Delhi Public School, Noida, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Noida, has been actively involved in community service initiatives. Each year, it contributes enthusiastically to projects such as Public Polio programme, interaction with local orphanages, old people homes, tree plantations, AIDS awareness and more membership to the club is a coveted privilege upholding social causes with conviction, the Interact Club has select members form Classes IX to XII and works closely with the Rotary Club of Noida.
The annual Inter-School western music extravaganza of Interact Club, called Interact Thunder is its pride event.

Installation Ceremony (2014)

Delhi Public School Noida , 30 July2014 : held the investiture ceremony of the interact club of the school. The interact club is an extension of the rotary club , Since its inception in 1995, the Interact Club of Delhi Public School, Noida, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Noida, has been actively involved in community service initiatives. Each year, it contributes enthusiastically to projects such as Public Polio programme, interaction with local orphanages, old people homes, tree plantations, AIDS awareness and more membership to the club is a coveted privilege upholding social causes with conviction, the .
Principal Kamini Bhasin welcomed the guests with a speech and vote of thanks. The ceremony was graced by the presence of philanthropist and president of the rotary club noida Rtn.Ravi Chopra and Rtn. Sarthak Aggarwal, secretary rotary club , Rtn. Major Dalbir Singh , director new generations , Rtn. Vineet Aggarwal , along with other rotary members. They shared their ideas about spreading social awareness.

Shuvenih Kaul and Shazia Rehman of class 12 were bestowed with the honor of the post of President and Vice president of the prestigious club and total of 110 students were inducted to the interact club of school. The post holders along with the new members of the interact club pledged their continued efforts towards making a difference in the society.

The school was applauded and appreciated for their efforts to bring about a change in the society. The school also initiated Gaurvi : DPS Noida plays a keen role in influencing the young minds, giving them wings to achieve their dreams by empowering them through education and career development.
The event was concluded by the speech of the president of the club , appreciating the efforts of the teacher’s incharge and inspiring the new members of the club to work with their very potential.

Swach Bharat Abhiyan

Delhi Public School , Noida : Students and Interactors of delhi public school noida participated in the nationwide initiative Swach Bharat Abhiyan started by our honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Damodardas Modi.

The students took an initiative in not only physically cleaning up the garbage themselves but also took up the charge of creating awareness amongst the shopkeepers of the market to be vigilant about the ways they were disposing garbage and instilling in them the thought and responsibility of keeping their surroundings clean.

Vocational Training

Delhi Public School, Noida,: DPS Noida plays a keen role in influencing the young minds, giving them wings to achieve their dreams by empowering them through education and career development. Building upon their commitment towards DPS Noida opens the doors of hope for girls of economically weaker sections of society to pursue their dreams an initiative – GAURVI

GAURVI is a spirited effort in the direction of providing vocational social and cultural training to young girls (14 years and above) of the economically distressed section of society by developing their latent skills and bringing about professional independence.
The, efforts from the school & the students were also recognized by the International NEWS channel Al Jazeera, which had selected the Vocational Training Center at DPS for a videoshoot on “skill training & economic advancement of womenfolk in India” for its curtain raiser to be telecasted at the World Economic Forum, which was held on 4-5th November’14.

Janmasthmi Celebration

Delhi public school Noida ,18 August 2014 : the interact club of dps noida volunteered at the Isckon Temple , Noida on janmasthmi in collaboration with the rotary club of delhi ashoka ,the event was blessed with the presence of 36 rotaractors who actively took charge for queue management and Parsad distribution . Rotractors of galgotia , Amity physiotherapy and dtu were there along with 16 interactors of DPS noida .

Independence Day Celebration

Delhi public school Noida, 15 August 2014 : Delhi Public School Noida celebrated Independence day with great nationalistic fervor , patriotism and pride .

The students from classes 3rd to 12th were awarded with the opportunity to write letters sharing their feeling of appreciation, acknowledging their efforts and scarifies, and proudly saluting the unknown soldiers of the country for their bravery and courage .

The letters were then collected by the Interactors and handed over to the officials of the Ministry of Defense so that our sentiments reach our soldiers on the borders.

Teacher’s day Celebration

Delhi public school Noida , 5th September 2014 : The students of Delhi public school noida , celebrated teachers day with great enthusiasm.
Students from class 5th to 12th wrote messages and shared their feelings of respect and honor for their teachers. The messages were then collected by the Interactors and the messages were displayed on the panels and notice boards throughout the school , so that the sentiments of the students could reach to their teachers.

Raghiri (2014)

Delhi public school Noida , 7th September 2014 : Rotary club celebrated rotary day (Raghiri) on 7th September , there was a very enthusiastic response from the Interactors with large number of students participating .

People were required to come in white T-shirts and were given stickers to promote rotary. Colorful rotary caps from the polio office were also given to all to remind everyone to keep India polio free

Interactors of delhi public school noida also participated in the event , where they were taught self defense and the value of health and fitness . The Interactors actively participated in the activities being conducted at Raghiri .

DILA

Delhi Public School , Noida : Shuvenih Mohan Kaul of DPS Noida was bestowed with the high honor of the post of Additional District Representative , RI District 3010 .

After being interviewed by the District Interact Club ( Rtn. Prashant Singh), District director youth (Rtn. Sanjay Jawahar ) and the honorable Rotarians.

Shuvenih Mohan Kaul was shortlisted for an interview with the District Governor (Rtn. Sanjay Khanna ) and was then appointed as the ADIR.

The badging ceremony took place on 30th September 2014 , which was the district interact leadership assembly . DILA ’14 – at Apeejay sheikh sarai had the interactors of delhi public school giving a group song performance applauded and enjoyed by all

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Delhi Public School, Noida, 14th November 2014: The Interactors, from the Interact Club of Delhi Public School, made a visit to Gyan Shakti Vidyalaya a school for the under-privileged children, on the occasion of Children’s Day. The interactors had took up the initiative of planning out the visit on a very early stage, collecting not only clothes and toys but also objects of utility for these less fortunate children.

The Interactors, interacted with the enthusiastic lot of children from the school. They hosted activities and interactive gaming sessions, before distributing the gifts collected for them. The interaction with the under-privileged children not only encouraged the children but also the students participating.
